Kids are back at school, so there’s more availability in the daytimes (because I no longer have my son’s home-schooling to do). However, all lesson slots below are for Zoom only: it remains illegal for me to have students visit my house until 12th April. Tue 9th March 11:15 Thu 11th March 12:45 I teach piano / keyboard, guitar (electric… Read more »
Damian OxboroughComments Off on Update: One more home-schooling week
Only 5 more days of schooling from home to go for Britain’s young people, and they will finally be able to go back to learning together with the professionals! This means for me that this is the last week of a limited slot availability.. but, I still won’t be able to take pupils into my home for at least another… Read more »
Damian OxboroughComments Off on Update: Awaiting Boris’ Announcement
This lockdown seems to have been going on a long time now, and I know that many of my pupils are eagerly awaiting the return to face-to-face lessons. My plan will be to align the reopening of ‘normal’ lessons with my son’s return to school, so everything is hanging on what Boris announces on Monday. As soon as primary school… Read more »

Certainly, we have concerns about how it’s impacting on our son – at his age he should be visiting… Read more »
Zoom until February Following the government’s announcement at the beginning of this week, my lessons will now be exclusively on Zoom until at least the end of the February half term school holidays. That means that I plan to resume face-to-face lessons from 22nd February, all being well. That said, this is constantly under review and will be shifted again… Read more »
Damian OxboroughComments Off on Update: In-person lessons delayed
Happy New Year Here’s to a bright, happy and healthy 2021! With this in mind, I’ve made the decision to delay all face-to-face lessons at my house until February. With the Covid-19 virus currently spreading faster than ever, and government tier regulations being tightened, I feel that it’s important for me to be part of the solution to this pandemic… Read more »
