As summer holidays arrive, my schedule inevitably quietens down. Many of my students get themselves away for well deserved breaks, while others take a little siesta from music lessons. Inevitably, September will bring with it a return to a full calendar of lessons and this year the additional challenge of how to manage face-to-face lessons in a manner that doesn’t put my students and their families at risk of spreading Covid.
The upshot of all this, though, is that the school summer holidays offers me a little more wiggle room… something that I can pass on to students who would like to book in the odd lessons here and there. For the time being, I continue to teach online only (via Zoom) but I’m hoping that this will change in the not too distant future. Here’s a list of the available spaces for this coming week:
- Monday 27th
- 17:00 (2 x 30 mins)
- Tuesday 28th
- 11:00 (2 x 30 mins)
- Wednesday 29th
- 16:00 (2 x 30 mins)
- Thursday 30th
- 16:00 (2 x 30 mins)
- Saturday 1st August
- 10:00 (30 mins)
While you’re here, you might also like to listen to the latest song in Carleton’s Season of Music and Poetry. It’s me singing one of my favourites: John Denver’s Rhymes & Reasons. Hope you enjoy.
