Hi all.
As you know, I’ve now switched to online lessons. I’m using the Pro version of Zoom – the highest quality video conferencing software available. It’s free for my students to use and allows us to have a ‘nearly in the same room’ type of experience. There is, admittedly, one small downside: that it’s difficult to play / sing together due to the lag over an internet connection. But it’s perfectly possible for me to demonstrate music for you to repeat. And, I can certainly watch and listen to you play, and provide feedback advice etc, as usual.
And, it’s my view that the practical differences in lesson delivery caused by the technology we use is a very small price to pay for staying home for your lessons, thus reducing the risk to yourself and others of catching this nasty Covid-19.
Because all of my face-to-face lessons for next week were cancelled, and I’m only just getting around to letting my students know about this new video delivery method, I actually have lots of availability for this week. I can’t imagine this being the case for very long, so if you would like to continue (or start) music lessons then now is the time to book. Here is the list of available slots for this week:
- Monday 23rd March
- 11:00 (60 mins or 2 x 30 mins)
- 17:00 (60 mins or 2 x 30 mins)
